Niche or market- Getting Started in Affiliate marketing

The first thing you might want to do is to decide on a niche or a profitable market. (Niche: Pronounced, 'nich; etymology, French; a place, employment or activity for which a person is best fitted.)

Find something you are very interested in. The more enthused you are, the more you can relay that enthusiasm to your potential customers. Write yourself a list of everything you can think of.

Now do a preliminary search of each of your ideas. You'll see a search bar at the bottom of these pages to help you out. Write down more ideas that come to you from your preliminary searches. This will help you in finding your niche, in your marketing and what affiliates to choose.

WARNING!!! Do NOT do what I did for a year. For a year I read and studied and bought courses and programs and on and on. But what did I do? NOTHING! Lesson? DO NOT procrastinate. DO AS YOU LEARN. You will learn more by doing than to just reading about it. Besides, You do want to make money don't you? You wont if you do nothing.

Another warning. Stay FOCUSED on one thing! Don't go jumping around with every new or great marketing idea that comes around. You wont get anywhere if you do. Trust me I know. Do one thing at a time. Learn it, Do it, Perfect it till it works. AND BE PATIENT. Then go on to the next thing and do the same thing again. If you will do this then you will get ahead a whole lot faster. I promise you.

OK, back to the subject at hand. Getting started in affiliate marketing

You are almost ready once you decide what niche or market you wish to work with. You will also need the right tools to use in your marketing campaigns. (For tools use the navigation bar). Without the right tools you wont get anywhere in any kind of business.

Now, you have your homework assignment which you have just read. It is now time to “Get Er Done”. Take your time and enjoy yourself. Remember, This is for you now. Not your boss. You are now the boss.

It can be broken down into a particular niche, such as: certain types of gulf clubs; or improving ones swing; or the differences between golf balls etc.
