What Is Affiliate Marketing?
What is affiliate marketing? Basicly it is an agreement between you and a merchant. That agreement is usually on the line of: You agree to promote (market) said merchants product to your customers or customers you aquire by sending them to the merchants sales page.
Should that customer make a purchase of that product, then the merchant will pay you a percentage of that sale. The percentages ranges from as little as 5% up to 100%. For instanse, Amazon.com pays their associates (affiliates) a 10% commission.
Why some merchants pay 100% commissions as an incentive for affiliates to market their products is to make you more Enthusiastic about promoting it. How do they make money? From the upsell or upgrade of a higher priced product(s).
And the best part of that is, you also get a commission on that as well. Normally between 25% to 50%. It is a win-win situation for everybody.
I do have to tell you that it won't be easy. Some of you may have already begun or been doing it for awhile and understand what I mean. You will make mistakes, and there will be some false starts. Not every campaign will be successful. But don't sweat it because you will come out on top with your desire and determination. You will learn from your mistakes and keep improving with every setback. You know you will achieve success because you won't give up and quit. YOU ARE A WINNER.
